Welcome to Ms. Mann's Second Grade Class
. Welcome to Second Grade! I am very excited about having you in my class! We are going to have a wonderful year together! We will make many exciting discoveries together each and every day! Second grade is a fresh start for you! That is exciting to think about! I look forward to helping you reach your fullest potential and succeed this year!
I am a product of the Louisville City School district and graduated from Louisville High School in 1997. I graduated from Malone University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education (certified in grades 1 - 8 with an English concentration). In 2010, I earned my master’s degree, with a focus in Reading and Literacy, from Marygrove College. This will be my seventeeth year of teaching. Time really does fly! Before coming to Louisville Elementary School, I taught students in grades one and two at Pleasant Grove Elementary.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I live in Louisville with my eight year old daughter named Avery, and my five year old twin boys named Carter and Mason. Things are very busy in our home! :) When not teaching, I like to spend time with family and friends, traveling, boating and enjoying the outdoors. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year with you!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions and/or concerns. I am here to help throughout the entire school year. You may contact me at [email protected] or (330)875-1177 at extension 3211.
